KANDA POHA(a Maharashtrian breakfast staple)


Cooking time:10-15 minutes;
Ingredients:for a family of 4
Poha(beaten rice/aval):250 gm
Vegetables:green peas
Tempering:mustard and cumin seeds,curry leaves
Masala:onions(lightly fried in a little oil/ghee),green chillies,tomatoes
Garnish:roasted peanut powder,fresh coconut and coriander
A sprinkling of lime juice
Good to eat hot or cold!
